INFORMACIÓN

La Liga irlandesa de fútbol (en inglés y oficialmente League of Ireland, en gaélico Sraith na hÉireann, también conocida como Airtricity League por razones de patrocinio) es el campeonato profesional de fútbol de la República de Irlanda. El torneo fue creado en 1921 como una liga de ocho equipos, pero con el paso del tiempo se ha expandido a un campeonato de 22 clubes repartidos en dos categorías: una Primera División de 10 equipos (Premier Division) y una Segunda de 12 (First Division).
